milk tea

On a dark and cold Sunday night, I walked my lonely, single self down Chinatown, searching for companionship. I soon found myself walking into Quicklys, the well-known milk tea shop. The friendly workers greeted me and complimented me on my outrageously great looks and muscular physique as I looked at their menu. After much thought, I had finally chosen which was worthy enough to be held and caressed by my loving hands - Quickly’s barley milk tea. I didn’t actually know what barley was at the time, but since I’m always up for trying new things, I figured I’d give it a shot. That and barley rhymed with Marley, except it starts with a “b” like Bob. COINCIDENCE OR WHAT?!

Now normally, I love bubble tea, but I’m not too big a fan of chronic diarrea. Apparently, barley is high in dietary fiber, which I wish I had known before I had to take at least six trips to the bathroom during the middle of the night. I probably lost about an hour of sleep and five pounds in weight.
